LOTTO winner Gillian Bayford gave her freeloading hubby £5million over seven tumultuous years of marriage — but he got nothing in their divorce.

The multi-millionaire mum, 52 — who landed a £148million EuroMillions jackpot — lavished gifts on Brian Deans, 43, including cars, watches and spending money.

Gilian Bayford married Brian Deans at the Fairmont Hotel in St Andrews in 2018.

Lotto winner Gillian Bayford is starting all over again after he split from Brian Deans.

Yet it is understood that she insisted second husband and convicted fraudster Brian sign a pre-nuptial agreement to prevent him from making off with a share of her fortune.

Newly-lodged paperwork reveals the couple’s marriage ended last month and friends claim Brian walked away with nothing.

One said: “She reckons she’s so much better off than she was when she was with him.

“Now the divorce is final she’s starting all over again and is delighted with how everything has worked out.”

Gillian, looking slender in gold sparkly trousers in a recent social media snap, landed her massive £148million win with first husband Adrian Bayford in August, 2012.

That same month Brian was jailed for six months for swindling £13,500 from a Tesco store in Dundee.

Gillian and Adrian split up when their big win caused a rift and she moved from Suffolk to Scotland, where she grew up.

She walked away with half — £74million.

She fell for Brian and the pair tied the knot in a lavish ceremony at the Fairmont Hotel in St Andrews in 2018.

They had a daughter together two years later but insiders claim the marriage began to fall apart as he splurged millions on an out-of-control lifestyle.

Friends claimed she gave him a monthly allowance but he argued it was never enough and kept asking for more.

She kicked him out in March last year, as we reported below, after friends said he was splurging cash on drinking and jetting to European football games.

Yet the pre-nup ensured he could not get his hands on her money if they split, although a £200,000 loan from her company was written off as part of the divorce proceedings.

Documents also reveal that his house is held in a trust so he is not able to sell it.

The friend said: “I’m not sure how happy Brian is with how it’s all turned out.

“He’s signed everything away and more or less walked away with nothing.”

Brian reportedly told friends: “The watches, they were all gifts. The cars were all in her name.

“I left of my own accord, she didn’t kick me out.”

He currently runs a pub in Auchterarder, Perthshire. Gillian refused to comment.

Brian was contacted for comment.
