Lioness fans will already recognise Williamson’s girlfriend, Elle Smith, who was in attendance at England’s Euro 2025 matches.
But not many know the full details of who she is.
Who is Elle Smith?
Elle Smith, 27, was born in Springfield, Ohio.
She is an honors student who graduated from Shawnee High School in 2016.
After this, Smith attended the University of Kentucky’s School of Journalism and Media until May 2020 and earned a bachelor’s degree in broadcast journalism and a minor in political science.

During her college years, Smith was the vice president of UK’s National Association of Black Journalists chapter, a reporter for the UK Student News Network, and a videographer for UK Athletics and SEC Network.
In October 2020, she went on to work as a reporter at WHAS11 News, an ABC-affiliated television station licensed to Louisville.
Smith had not competed in pageants before winning Miss Kentucky.
And then on November 29, 2021, Smith was crowned Miss USA at the age of just 23.
When did they start dating?
Although they became romantically linked in 2024, Williamson and Smith have not officially confirmed whether they are in a relationship.
But in March 2024, speculation about their relationship was rife after it was expected that the couple were “soft-launching their relation ship” when Smith posted a video of her and Williamson floating in the ocean together on a paddle board.
This came accompanied by the caption ‘happy birthday my love x,’ to which Williamson responded with a series of emojis.

Rumours seemed almost confirmed after Smith posted on Instagram a picture of Williamson sitting on her lap following the Lionesses‘ 6-0 victory over Portugal in May.
And ever since, the pair have continued to share somewhat loved-up pics of them on holiday.
At the final of Euro 2025, where England became back-to-back champions, Smith was seen wearing a shirt which read: “Live, Laugh, Leah.”

How did Elle Smith win Miss USA 2021?
On November 29, 2021, Smith was crowned Miss USA.
The live event was hosted at River Spirit Casina Resort in Tulsa, Oklahoma.
Smith was visibly thrilled about her new title after competing against several worthy opponents.
During the question-and-answer round, Smith revealed that the “most important core value”, according to her, was honesty.
Smith also spoke in detail about sustainability and the need for corporations to be more environmentally conscious.
Did she compete in the Miss Universe competition?
After being crowned as Miss USA, Smith went on to represent the States at 2021 Miss Universe pageant.
The Steve Harvey-hosted event was the 70th annual pageant and was held on December 12, 2021, in Eilat, Israel.
Reigning champ Andrea Meza was there to crown the champion, but unfortunately, Williamson’s new beau missed out on taking the top prize, coming in tenth overall and losing out to India’s Harnaaz Sandhu.
