LIVERPOOL are the front-runners to sign Marc Guehi if he leaves Crystal Palace this summer.
Chelsea were also keeping tabs on Guehi but have set their sights on prioritising other transfer targets.

The England centre-back has a year left on his contract and Liverpool value the defender at £40million.
Blues boss Enzo Maresca revealed the club “are trying also to find different solutions” after Levi Colwill’s ACL injury but Guehi is not being considered as a potential replacement.
Newcastle had three bids for Guehi rejected last year, while Tottenham saw a £70m offer turned down in January – months before the Eagles won the FA Cup.
Liverpool were believed to be leading the race to sign Guehi this summer as part of their major spending spree to bolster their defence, particularly with Real Madrid sniffing around Ibrahima Konate.
Palace manager Oliver Glasner also has a year left on his contract.
And on the eve of the FA Cup final said: “Marc and me, we have the same fate.
“But I can’t speak on behalf of Marc.”
Arne Slot’s side will face Guehi and co in the Community Shield at Wembley on Sunday.

Guehi is still on the five-year deal he signed when joining from Chelsea in 2021, ignoring new contracts and waiting for the right step up, which could be now to Anfield.
Palace are not interested in swaps, despite the Kop’s highly-rated Ben Doak, 19, and others being potentially available, as they need the cash to land replacements.
