The Reds have spent a whopping £269million this summer, with the likes of Hugo Ekitike, Jeremie Frimpong, Milos Kerkez and Florian Wirtz all arriving on Merseyside.

Arne Slot may opt to start all his new lads under the arch as Liverpool look to pick up from where they left off last season.

Oliver Glasner has only added two players to his Crystal Palace squad this summer, but most importantly, Eberechi Eze and Marc Guehi are still on the books, despite links with big-money moves away from the club.

Both sides will be looking to get their season up and running with a piece of silverware – SunSport brings you all the details you need so you don’t miss a minute of the action at Wembley.

COMMUNITY SHIELD LIVE

Why is Community Shield not on ITV this year?

The Community Shield has been aired on terrestrial TV since 2021.

ITV held the rights to the last four editions of English football’s traditional curtain-raiser, but this year’s match will be shown on a different channel.

TNT Sports will exclusively air the Community Shield for the first time ever.

The broadcaster’s predecessor, BT Sport, held the rights to the match from 2014 to 2020 before it returned to ITV in 2021.

How to watch Community Shield 2025

The Community Shield will take place on Sunday, August 10.

Kick off is scheduled for 3pm BST at Wembley Stadium.

The match between Liverpool and Palace will be broadcast on TNT Sports 1.

TNT Sports customers can live stream all the action via the discovery+ app/website.

Coverage will begin at 2pm BST.

If you don’t have a TNT Sports subscription, SunSport’s live blog of the match will provide you with minute-by-minute coverage from Wembley.
