A WITNESS screamed “you’ve killed him” after a man was allegedly beaten to death with rocks at a popular beach.
Three teenagers have since been arrested following the death of a man in his 40s on the Isle of Sheppey, Kent, on Sunday evening.

Emergency crews were scrambled to Leysdown-on-Sea at around 7pm following reports of an altercation.
Despite the best efforts of paramedics, the man was sadly pronounced dead at the scene.
A short time later, a 16-year-old girl and two teenage boys, aged 14 and 15, were arrested “in an arcade” on suspicion of murder.
Reliving the alleged attack, one witness told how he chased after the assailants and shouted “you’ve just killed a man”.
The dad-of-three said: “I took my shoes off and I ran after them.
“They ran off towards Leysdown so I sprinted after them, I was asking everyone if they’d seen him.
“I found them near the pitch and putt, and I went up to them and shouted ‘you’ve just killed a man!’
“I just wish I could have been a few moments earlier – that way this might not have happened.”
Specialist officers brought a sniffer dog to the crime scene as they continue their search for evidence.
A police spaniel was yesterday seen sniffing around a small area with police tape around it.
The cordon was set up in a large clearing behind the beach, in front of a caravan park, with officers still at the scene yesterday.
They have also covered a few areas of the scrap land behind Warden Bay Beach.
Locals claimed that the man was “hit with stones and rocks” before he died.
The witness added: “I initially went up to the sea wall because there was a kid up there who was bleeding and making a load of noise.
“I thought he had been mugged. I went up to check on him and then I saw an older guy being chased by a kid.
“The kid came back and he said ‘I’ve done him, I’ve done him’. At this point I just thought they’d slapped him around a bit.
“Then I went down to the man, I could see he was lying on the ground – people were already doing CPR.
“When I got over there I knew immediately he was dead…
“One of the ladies giving CPR said they had kicked him in his head, I saw rocks all around his head as well.”
Kent Police confirmed three arrests had been made following the man’s death yesterday.
In a statement, the force said: “Three arrests have been made following the death of a man in Leysdown-on-Sea on the Isle of Sheppey.
“Kent Police was called to the Warden Bay Road area shortly after 7pm on August 10.
“It was reported that an altercation broke out involving a small group of people and a man was assaulted, sustaining serious injuries.
“Officers attended along with paramedics and a man in his 40s was confirmed deceased. His next of kin has been informed.
“Detectives are appealing for witnesses and anyone with information that may assist the investigation, including CCTV or dashcam footage.”
Anthony West, site manager at Jimmy G’s Amusements, said the teens were arrested in the arcade near the seafront.
The 29-year-old previously told The Sun: “They were arrested in our arcade.
“I was working in the ice cream shop across the road at the time.
“I heard a commotion so came outside to see what was going on.
“One of the boys was in handcuffs in the car.”
