ROY KEANE saved a female DJ from being “manhandled” by four louts on a cruise.
The former Manchester United captain is never afraid to make his feelings clear – on the pitch or in the TV studio.

But now his no-nonsense approach extends to cruise ships after his holiday antics.
Keane, 54, revealed he felt the need to step in on the first night of his ship trip this summer.
He told Stick To Football: “I’ve had a great summer. No tournaments, bit of a break.
“I went on a cruise and really enjoyed that.
“I did (get annoyed on) the first night. I put a marker down on the first night to a few people.
“They weren’t coming up to me but they were just being rude to other people.
“They were just being rude to other people, rude to the woman playing the music and getting aggro with her and I stepped in.
“Listen lads calm down, this is a nice boat remember.

“But these lads about four of them who were about the same age as me, maybe a bit older, they were being really rude to this woman DJ and manhandling her.
“And I just went over to them and went, ‘Lads just calm down,’ so I sat down and four of them came across ready to…
“No, no I didn’t have them, it didn’t kick off but it was pretty close.”
The rest of the panel – Gary Neville, Ian Wright, Jamie Carragher and Jill Scott – cracked up with laughter at Keane’s retelling of the story.
Neville asked how the ex-Ireland man’s wife Theresa reacted to his decision to get involved in the situation.
Keane added: “She wasn’t too bad with it. She said they were really rude.”
Neville then quoted his former United team-mate Keane’s comment about “putting a marker down”.
“It didn’t kick off, but it was pretty close!”

And the hardman joked: “It’s like a pre-season game, Charity Shield, studs down the back of somebody.
“They were still annoying the rest of the week but I kept my distance.
“A few nights later I saw them having a few words with this other guy.
“I went over to support him a little bit, but it wasn’t as bad as I’m kind of making out.”
Keane also went on holiday with his family – including various grandkids – to celebrate his 54th birthday.
He took to Instagram with adorable snaps of him playing with the youngsters and relaxing in the swimming pool.
And Keane will become a grandad again in a few months when his daughter Leah welcomes her baby.
Leah and Southampton defender Taylor Harwood-Bellis – who got engaged in Italy last year – announced the news of their pregnancy on social media this week.
