Eagle Sports FC, based in Littler’s hometown of Warrington, play their senior football in the Cheshire Football League, step seven of the English game.
The local sporting legend chose a match between the team’s development squad and Bruche Athletic to make his appearance.
The players were thrilled to see the Nuke in attendance, and he took time to get photos with them outside of the ground.
He was not quite the lucky charm the team would have hoped for though, as they secured a 2-2 draw on the day.
Littler is known to be a football fan, being an outspoken Man Utd supporter and FIFA player.
The teenage star had only just returned from his successful trip to Australasia for the World Series of Darts.
Littler took the trophy in the Australian Darts Masters two weeks ago, beating Mike De Decker in the final.
He was straight back into action at the weekend as he saw off rival Luke Humphries in New Zealand to make it back-to-back tournament wins.
