TOTTENHAM are reportedly considering a stunning 11th hour change to their transfer offer for Eberechi Eze, which would allow them to also sign Yoane Wissa.

SunSport understands Spurs and Crystal Palace are nearing a breakthrough with a deal in the region of £60million close to being agreed.

The main issue to overcome is an agreement on payment conditions.

However, the Daily Mail now suggest the North Londoners have made a late alteration by offering to send Richarlison to Selhurst Park in a part-exchange.

If the Eagles were to agree to this cash-plus-player deal, Spurs would then move to sign wantaway Brentford star Wissa, who is valued by the Bees at £50m.

The 28-year-old has been the subject of heavy interest from Newcastle this summer and earlier today, the Magpies submitted an improved £35m plus £5m bid to sign Wissa, which was rejected.

But SunSport understands that Spurs are not considering a swap deal of this nature and remain confident of striking a deal for Eze despite the hold up.

The club are also happy with Richarlison despite being prepared to sell him in previous windows – with a sale of the 28-year-old only being considered if a big bid arrives.

Spurs are also admirers of Wissa, but Thomas Frank is happy with his strikeforce he would only arrive in the event a forward exit were to occur.

Newcastle also remain the frontrunners for a deal, despite seeing their latest offer rejected.

Wissa’s camp are said to have been left angry over the Bees’ knock back to Toon’s latest offer, having been waiting for a deal to be found for over three weeks.

And sources indicate Wissa has his heart set on a move to St James’ Park.

This late complication for the Eze deal could allow Arsenal back into the race.

The Gunners have stepped up their search for a new attacker following news that Kai Havertz has picked up a knee injury.

Aston Villa’s Morgan Rogers is a target, as exclusively revealed by SunSport, though Aston Villa are under no pressure to sell.

SunSport also looked at seven alternative attacking options for the Gunners before the end of the window.
