TYSON FURY has had a training reunion with dad John after brutally axing him for the biggest fight of his life.

Long-time trainer John paid the price for his corner advice during Tyson’s historic undisputed heavyweight title fight with undefeated Ukrainian Oleksandr Usyk last May.

Axed John watched from home as the slick southpaw did a second-straight number on his son in their rematch last December.

But a potential reunion, when it comes to training, could be on the cards after the pair hit pads with one another.

Tyson posted a video of himself blasting focus mitts with his old man on his Instagram on Thursday for his 6.7million followers to see.

His accompanying caption read: “Back to Basics & back to the original Gypsy roots!

“In the beautiful British countryside, Cumbria. #uk #world #boxing @gypsyjohnfury.

“Big pappa bear living the dream. 2025 &still the Don.”

Scores of Tyson’s followers commented on the heartwarming training video.

One said: “Yes boyssss.”

And another said: God bless.”

One remarked: “One more knock for the big GK.”

Even UFC heavyweight champion Tom Aspinall – a former training partner of Tyson’s – chimed in, saying: “Love to see it.

Fury’s sharing of the video came less than a day after he teased a big announcement on Instgram.

He said in a video on his story: “I’ve got the biggest announcement of the year incoming. Stay tuned.”

Fury, 36, has flip-flopped on the prospect of fighting again several times over the last few months.

Just hours before Usyk’s undisputed straightner with Daniel Dubois at Wembley last month, The Gypsy King claimed he missed boxing and that he’s champing at the bit to return.

But he performed yet another U-turn earlier this month, telling Sky Sports when asked if he’ll fight again: “Never! Really.

“[I’m] too old, look at my beard, all grey. Boxing’s a young man’s game.”
