AN adrenaline junkie spending his honeymoon at Alton Towers was booted off a ride — for being too fat.
Humiliated Simeon Dykes, 37, had already enjoyed The Smiler ride earlier in the day.

But he was left in tears after returning later and — while sat in the coaster ready to go — being told by a member of staff: “You’re too big for the ride.”
Simeon, who weighs 20st and has a 46in waist, and new wife Tammy, 38, were at the Staffordshire theme park with their 12-year-old daughter as part of a mini honeymoon.
The coach driver, of Darlington, County Durham, told The Sun: “We arrived on Friday and had no problem.
“On Saturday I even got a picture of me on The Smiler.
“I love the ride, so I queued up again.
“I got into the seat, pulled the safety bar down.
“All the staff member needed to do was give it another shove but she refused and told me I was too big for the ride.”
He added: “I went to the customer services hub and broke down and cried.
“I felt so small and embarrassed.
“Large people miss out because it’s all designed for Slim Jims.
“The awful thing is, I’ve actually lost weight.”
An Alton Towers spokesperson said: “We care about creating experiences that are safe and inclusive.
“When a guest is unable to ride, it is for their safety and in line with manufacturer guidelines.”
