MARK Zuckerberg has shared snaps of himself on a hospital bed after surgery to repair a torn ACL which he suffered while mixed-martial arts training.
Zuckerberg’s injury comes after months of negotiating a fight with Tesla CEO Elon Musk.

Zuckerberg’s injury will inevitably delay a fight that he had scheduled for early in 2024.
He shared snaps from his hospital bed on Friday and told his 12.6 million Instagram followers that he underwent successful surgery on his left leg.
“Tore my ACL sparring and just got out of surgery to replace it,” Zuckerberg wrote.
“Grateful for the doctors and team taking care of me.
“I was training for a competitive MMA fight early next year, but now that’s delayed a bit.
“Still looking forward to doing it after I recover.
“Thanks to everyone for the love and support.”
Zuckerberg also posted a pic of his wife Priscilla Chan rubbing his head while on the hospital bed.
The 39-year-old has been cage-fight training since 2020.
In July, Zuckerberg was seen training with UFC stars Israel Adesanya and Alexander Volkanovski.
Talks of an MMA fight between Zuckerberg and Musk simmered down after months of negotiating terms for a bout.
In September, Zuckerberg told Forbes that he will keep fighting even if the Musk clash never takes place.
“I started doing jiu-jitsu competitions earlier this year,” the 39-year-old said.
“I want to do an MMA competition, do a formal fight sometime in the next year. So I’m looking forward to that.”
Earlier this week, Musk went on Joe Rogan’s podcast and said he’s “still down” to fight Zuckerberg.
Unfortunately, Zuckerberg will be in the rehab and recovery process following his ACL injury.
ACL recovery usually takes around nine months to return to close to 100% post-surgery.
