The defender would seal a switch to Aston Villa on deadline day for his final season in the English top flight before a last hurrah with Sunderland as he hung up his boots in 2017.
Lescott enjoyed a glittering playing career, winning the Premier League twice with Manchester City alongside FA Cup and League Cup triumphs, while also representing England 26 times.
But having tried his hand at both punditry and coaching since then, Lescott has finally found his new calling as a DJ.
Lescott, 43, will be playing a House music DJ set at the Festival.
His set is due to commence on The Jägermeister Stage on Sunday at 6pm.
Lescott’s affinity for the DJ booth was revealed last year.
He revealed it was a “real ambition” of his to make it a full-time gig, and this weekend he will get the chance to showcase his skills to thousands of fans.
Lescott told The Rest is Football podcast: “Yeah, that is a thing, real ambition to do [a DJing career].
