THE jailed killer of teenager Jimmy Mizen could be free again by Christmas — causing fresh anguish for his parents.

Thug Jake Fahri — recalled to prison earlier this year after we exposed his violent drill rap videos — has been granted a parole hearing in December.

Yesterday, Jimmy’s parents Barry and Margaret were preparing a statement to be read out at the hearing.

Peace campaigner Margaret, 72, told The Sun: “I am going to put my faith in the Parole Board to do the right thing. We knew this day was coming so we are not too shocked about the hearing. But it does cause a great deal of pain and suffering for the family as it brings it all up again.”

Fahri, now 36, got 14 years in 2009 for killing Jimmy, 16, in a bakery in Lee, South East London.

During a row, he threw a large glass dish that shattered, severing an artery in Jimmy’s neck.

Fahri was freed on licence in June 2023 but recalled to prison in January.

It followed our exposé of his drill rap videos in which he appeared to boast about the murder of Jimmy.

As rapper TEN, his tunes were showcased on BBC Radio 1Xtra.

At the time, Margaret, who set up the Mizen Foundation after her son’s death, branded Fahri “heartless”.

A Parole Board spokesman said: “An oral hearing has been listed for the parole review of Jake Fahri and is scheduled to take place in December 2025.

“A panel will carefully examine a huge range of evidence.

“Protecting the public is our number one priority.”

The murder of Jimmy Mizen

Millwall fan and former altar boy Jimmy was attacked at a bakery by Fahri, then aged 19, who had gone in and started an argument.

The wannabe gangster hurled a Pyrex dish at 6ft 4in Jimmy, severing blood vessels in Jimmy’s neck, killing him.

He pleaded not guilty to murder but was convicted after a two-week trial at the Old Bailey in 2009.

Fahri was given a life sentence with a minimum term of 14 years for killing the 16-year-old.

His budding music career began after the Parole Board released him on licence in May 2023 after serving 14 years of a life sentence.

Fahri, 35, was arrested at his flat in Deptford, south-east London, in January after officials had examined a dossier of evidence handed to them by The Sun.

He faced calls to be returned to prison for breaching his licence by seeming to reference his offences in lyrics and filming a rap video inside a police-enforced exclusion zone.

Fahri will now spend at least another year in jail before being eligible for parole.
