A WOMAN has been arrested after a man was stabbed a “number of times” outside a pub on Bank Holiday weekend.
The horrifying attack happened outside the Black Bull pub in Penwortham, Lancashire, just after 5pm on Saturday, cops said.

Officers raced to the scene where a man in his 50s was found with multiple stab wounds.
He was rushed to hospital but the police said his injuries are not thought to be life threatening.
A woman in her 50s was arrested at the scene and is in custody while a knife was also recovered.
A Lancashire Police spokesperson said: “A woman in her 50s was arrested at the scene on suspicion of Section 18 wounding and is in custody. A knife has been recovered.
“We know this will have caused concern in the area and we want to reassure you that we were quickly on scene and swiftly made an arrest.
“We are not looking for anyone else and we do not believe there is any ongoing threat.”
They added that anyone who saw what happened or has any information should get in touch with the police.
