YEOVIL TOWN have sacked manager Mark Cooper just five games into the season.
The National League side have won just one match from five league games.

They threw away a 3-0 lead at home to Gateshead on Monday, losing 4-3 thanks to a last-minute winner.
That has led the owners to sack Cooper, with Richard Drysden to take interim charge.
A club statement read: “We would like to place on record our thanks to Mark for his commitment to this club through some very difficult times and also his achievements during his three years at Huish Park. We wish him every success in his future endeavours.
“In the interim, Richard Dryden will assume responsibility for First Team matters while the club begins the process of appointing a new permanent manager.
“We encourage all supporters to get behind Richard and the squad as we focus our attention on this weekend’s fixture against FC Halifax Town.”
Cooper, 56, led Yeovil to the National League South title in 2024.
He oversaw an 18th-placed finish in the National League last season, avoiding relegation by four points.
Yeovil was the 10th club of Cooper’s managerial career.

He previously managed in the EFL with Peterborough, Swindon, Forest Green, Notts County and most recently Barrow.
Cooper also won the National League North with Kettering Town in 2008 and the National League play-offs with Forest Green in 2017.
