A former New Zealand rugby star Shane Christie has died aged 39.
The former flanker was found dead in Nelson, New Zealand on Wednesday morning, a day before his 40th birthday.

He is believed to have died from a suspected suicide.
Christie represented New Zealand in rugby sevens and also featured for the Maori All Blacks.
He played domestic rugby in New Zealand before making the jump up to Super Rugby, where he played for the Crusaders and the Highlanders.
