She is being trained by her dad Tony

Demi has been trained by her dad Tony – an esteemed coach to the likes of Conor Benn and formerly Anthony Joshua.

But she has not done it alone, also making her Misfits Boxing debut alongside cousin and The Only Way is Essex legend Joey Essex.

SunSport got an unprecedented glimpse into their training camps after being invited down to Tony’s remote gym in Romford.

And Demi, 28, said: “Obviously it’s me and Joey’s first debut together, so what we’re both feeling is exactly the same.

“We’ve both got nerves, we’re both feeling a bit more confident every week that goes by and we’re both just really pushing ourselves and working hard and it’s completely different to reality TV.

“Like waking up and having a pornstar in the sun is so different to now – knuckling down and training twice a day, being on a nutrition plan, can’t drink, can’t go out.

“It’s like completely changed our lives, to say the least.”

Joey, 35, added: “We’ve both improved so much, even myself, we’ve come so far, especially in a small amount of time.

“Demi’s been boxing for a while and I’ve been boxing trying to box, I’d say. That’s just on a bag in other countries and with Tony sometimes just as I’ve grown up.

“But what I’ve learnt in, I don’t know what is it, six-seven weeks? I feel like I probably learned more in the past six-seven weeks than I have in five years.

“Just like coming in here and we’ve just been fast tracked massively, by a great trainer, who trains elite boxers, so I feel like we are in good hands and we’re getting taught properly.”

Essex faces Portuguese influencer Numeiro while Demi takes on Hopkins – a social media star.

With boxing royalty in their corner, Demi turned to cousin Joey and said: “It’s nerve-wracking.

“Like, you were saying to me the other day, not only are you nervous about your fight, but you’re nervous about me fighting more as well and it’s like the same with you.

“Joe, we’ve got to win this! We can’t, we can’t let the family name down!”
