DIDIER DROGBA’S son Isaac is set for a shock move to the Serbian second division.

Drogba Jr. has been without a club for over a year after being released by La Louviere — a Belgian fourth-tier outfit.

The 24-year-old striker is eyeing a fresh start with Jedinstvo Ub, the club bankrolled by one of his father’s former Blues team-mates.

Nemanja Matic, who signed to play for Serie A outfit Sassuolo this week, calls the shots at Jedinstvo as club president.

And word is, Matic has personally invited Drogba Jr. to train with the squad coached by the Serbian midfielder’s younger brother.

Born in Paris, Isaac came through Chelsea’s youth ranks before a spell in France with Guingamp — another of his father’s old clubs.

Like his dad, he plays up top, but he’s still got a way to go before he reaches the levels of Didier, twice African Footballer of the Year and the winner of 12 major honours with Chelsea.

He spent a couple of seasons bouncing around clubs in Italy and Portugal’s lower leagues, including a short spell when he went AWOL at Academica in 2022.

The club’s U23 coach Miguel Carvalho said at the time: “In January he said goodbye to us, he said he was going to spend the weekend in France with his family and he didn’t come back.

“I met many footballers and the ones who really want it are the ones who fight.

“I met a good boy. The difference is that he didn’t need to work to earn money at a higher level.”

Jedinstvo have already made headlines this summer by signing Diogo Ferreira, son of ex-Chelsea defender Paulo.

The teenage Portuguese striker impressed after a similar trial and now wears the No. 99 shirt.

If Isaac pens a deal, Jedinstvo fans might receive a visit from Champions League royalty as Drogba Sr. soaks up some Serbian First League action on a soggy Sunday.
