Map reveals last sightings of tourist schoolgirl, 15, who vanished after travelling to London to see famous landmarks

A 15-YEAR-OLD girl who vanished after taking a late-night trip to London has now been missing for almost two weeks.

Alexis, also known as Lexi, travelled to London from Northampton on the evening of Friday, August 15.

A map has now revealed Lexi’s movements on the night she disappeared 13 days ago.

It shows the missing youth travelled from Northampton to London where she visited a number of locations popular with tourists.

Police have revealed several of the places that she is believed to have passed through.

Her movements around London take her to Tottenham Court Road where she was last seen on Saturday, August 23.

She is thought to have reached London after leaving Northampton at around 10.30pm.

Her journey from her hometown to the capital spanned 70 miles and would have taken around an hour.

Lexi visited a number of landmarks in the capital according to the Met Police who are desperately trying to track her down.

She is believed to have been to Marble Arch, Leicester Square, Heathrow and the surrounding area.

The last time Lexi was spotted she was in the Tottenham Court Road area London.

Police have released an image of Lexi who is around 5ft tall, of slim build, with long, dark hair.

Cops said they are growing increasingly concerned for her welfare as the two week long search for the missing teen continues.

A plea for any information on her whereabouts has been issued with the search for missing Lexi now reaching its thirteenth day.

Officers are asking members of the public who may have seen the missing youth to contact them immediately.

Detective Inspector Rory Wilkinson, from the Met’s missing persons unit, said: “We, and Alexis’ family, are becoming increasingly concerned for her welfare.

“Take a close look at the photo we are issuing today and if you recognise her, or have any information, contact us as a matter of urgency 101, quoting 1213/20AUG.

“If you see her, please dial 999 immediately and reference the same number.”
