A WOMAN’S body has tragically been found in the sea near a holiday town.
The coastguard and emergency services rushed to the scene in Porthcawl, Wales, just before 3pm yesterday.
Reports had come in claiming a woman’s body was spotted in the waves.
A spokesperson for South Wales Police said there were no indications of suspicious circumstances surrounding the incident.
A statement from the force read: “South Wales Police received a call shortly before 2:55pm yesterday, Wednesday, August 27, reporting the discovery of a woman’s body in the sea at Rest Bay, Porthcawl.
“At this time, there are no indications of suspicious circumstances surrounding the incident.”
