The broadcaster has revealed terms have been agreed on a new three-year deal for showing games in the UK and Ireland.

This will take Sky and the NFL‘s long-standing partnership beyond 30 years.

As part of the agreement Sky will be showing more games than ever before.

They will have the best game of every week by having the first-pick exclusive game every Sunday at 6pm, while also getting the first pick for the 9pm game on the same day.

Sky’s new offering will see them show 50 per cent more games overall.

This includes three games on Thanksgiving, as well as every minute of every playoff game, Pro Bowl and Super Bowl live.

Popular programme, NFL Redzone, will also continue to be shown.

A new first in the deal will see Sky show NFL games in London and across Europe, inaugural games in Dublin, Ireland and Madrid, Spain.
