Who is Salt Papi?
Salt Papi, real name Nathaniel Bustamante, was born on February 24, 1994.
He is a British boxer, video creator and social media personality.
Although he’s now primarily known on social media as Salt Papi, he also used to go by the moniker Busta Breezie.
His name is a play on SaltBae — he used to regularly post budget versions of the steak salesman’s videos on his social media profiles.
He has a Filipino background but was born and raised in England.
Papi rose to fame by making TikTok skits during Covid lockdown.
He also became popular for the way he seasoned British takeaways with salt, not unlike Salt Bae.
Papi imitated the Turkish chef’s famous technique of dropping salt on a dish from above his shoulder with a twist, including chains such as Nandos, Five Guys and Wetherspoons.
Comedy videos were his initial go-to, however he then started showing his boxing journey and fitness transformation.
These videos allowed him to steadily build his monumental social media following — he now has over 5million followers on TikTok alone, as of August 30, 2025.
The boxer has lost 165lbs since he began his boxing career in 2022.

Salt Mami, also known by the name Miss Breezie, is Salt Papi’s fiancee.
She is primarily known by her social media presence, particularly on platforms like TikTok, where she often posts intimate moments alongside her man.
They are known for sharing couple goals videos and eye contact challenges.
Her Instagram handle @missbreezieofficial appears to no longer be active.
But Mami’s TikTok profile @misssugarofficial is still going strong.
She shares romantic clips of her international adventures with Papi — as of August 29, 2025, it has amassed almost 40k followers.

MISFITS boxing is back for an absolutely massive card this weekend.

When is Salt Papi fighting next?
Tony Ferguson will make his Misfits Boxing debut on Saturday, August 30, 2025, when he takes on the in-form Papi for the MFB Interim Middleweight title.
Manchester’s AO Arena plays host to the bout as Ferguson looks to kick-start his Misfits career with a win over the fan favourite.
The former UFC interim lightweight title holder, kbnown as “El Cucuy”, switched to boxing after losing his last eight MMA fights.
He had a professional UFC record of 26-11-0.
Back in 2013, he started an incredible 12-fight winning streak that would ultimately last six years.
The bout is part of a stacked Misfits card featuring famous fighters including Darren Till and Luke Rockhold.
