A SELFISH tennis fan sparked outrage at the US Open – after disgracefully snatching a player’s cap off a devastated young boy.
Polish star Kamil Majchrzak dumped No9 seed Karen Khachanov after five gruelling sets.

And during his celebrations on Court 11 at Flushing Meadows, he signed tennis balls for his new supporters.
One of those was a young lad with blonde hair, who got Majchrzak’s autograph on his giant yellow ball.
As the world No76 continued inking merchandise, the kid seemingly asked for his hat as a piece of memorabilia.
Majchrzak, 29, obliged and removed his cap to hand over to the adoring fan.
However, as the tennis ace turned away, the bloke standing next to the child shockingly swooped in and grabbed the dark hat.
The heartbroken kid could not believe his eyes as he stood gobsmacked at the outrageous behaviour.
He begged the man to hand over the hat which was clearly meant to be given to him instead, appearing to ask: “What are you doing?”
But the arrogant individual completely ignored the youngster’s pleas and smirked as he hid the cap in his partner’s bag.

To rub salt into the wounds, the mean man then did give the boy something – but just a marker pen Majchrzak was using.
The child was visibly gutted and called for Majchrzak to give him something else – but the US Open player had headed off unaware of the incident.
A video of the incident quickly went viral.
And tennis fans piled in on the man’s awful antics.
One labelled him a “jerk”.
Another wrote: “What a terrible man, to snatch it right out of a child’s hand like that.”
A third added: “What a man-child. Disgusting and so disrespectful. I wish Kamil had noticed and called him out for it.
“Noticed how he got a ball signed already, then snatched a hat and still wanted another signature after on the water bottle. Don’t be this guy ever!”

I was destined for the top but swapped lobs for labs as award-winning Harvard physicist
A fourth moaned: “Absolutely shameful behaviour from that guy. I hope @usopen takes a look at this footage and bans him from the stadium.”
A fifth blasted: “Absolutely disgusting…. I’m tired of seeing these obsessed grown adults behave in this manner.”
And a final user typed: “Instead of looking for that jerk now, find that kid and let Majchrzak give him something extra.”
Thankfully, the video did make it back to Majchrzak – who addressed the scenes on Instagram.
Sharing four screenshots from the video, he wrote: “After the match I didn’t record that my cap didn’t get to the boy.
“Thanks to @asicstennis I’ve got enough caps, so I’m prepared for that.
“Hey guys, could you help me find the kid from my match @usopen @eurosportpl.
“If it’s you (or your parents see this), please send me a DM.”
