FANS have slammed Coldplay after the band rescheduled two shows at the last minute, leaving thousands scrambling to cancel flights and hotels.
The band’s final two concerts of their current 10-show Wembley Stadium run have been rescheduled due to strikes on the London Underground.

Coldplay apologised to disappointed fans who have been left frantically trying to sell off useless tickets to the rescheduled shows.
The band said their only option to avoid cancelling was rescheduling the gigs planned for September 7 and September 8.
The September 7 gig will now be held on September 6 and the September 8 gig will be held on September 12.
Coldplay fans hit out over the late announcement with many left with expensive and now useless flights, hotel bookings and gig tickets.
Despite the band’s apology disappointed punters branded the move “not really good enough.”
Hundreds took to social media to complain about the late change of plans, leaving furious comments on the unexpected announcement.
One said: “Train tickets to go on the Monday £300, new tickets to go on the Friday £610 what a nightmare.”
Another commented: “A lot of people will lose out on flights/ accommodation as [they] will be non-refundable. A real shame.”
A third, who was travelling in from Ireland for the gig, wrote: “We were coming from Ireland and had flights etc booked for [the] concert. Have had to cancel now and lie the loss of the cost of the flights.
“Not really good enough and very disappointed with the lateness of this announcement.”
Another replied: “What about my non refundable very expensive train and hotels that have been booked?”
A fifth fumed: “Absolute deception. You can’t give such short notice, and that’s your responsibility.”
And another said: “So gutted, we were travelling from the Isle of Man for the weekend & new date just doesn’t work anymore for us.
“I tried all possible options & it’s just too expensive so there’s no way we can make the new date on 12th. Absolutely devastated as it was my first ever concert.”

All tickets for the shows will remain valid, the band said, but many fans claim the new dates mean many wont be able to attend at all.
Other shows planned for August 30, 31 and September 3 and 4 will go ahead as planned.
The Chris Martin-fronted band said that any ticket holders who are not able to attend a rescheduled date will be issued with a full refund.
However hundreds of would-be attendees have been left in the lurch after splashing out on non-refundable travel and accommodation for the shows.
Coldplay said any gig tickets that are returned will be resold on September 3, via Ticketmaster, to new punters.
It comes as seven days of strike action are set to hit the London Underground in September – causing travel chaos for millions of people.
A mass walkout is due to begin on September 5 after a breakdown in talks between Tube union RMT and network management over pay.

The British rock band have faced issues with getting an event licence for the shows, saying that without the Tube it was “impossible to get 82,000 people to the concert safely.”
Coldplay said in a statement on social media: “We’re sorry to announce that, due to planned industrial action on the London Underground, we’ve been forced to reschedule our final two concerts of the current Wembley Stadium run.
“Without a Tube service, it’s impossible to get 82,000 people to the concert and home again safely, and therefore no event licence can be granted for the nights of 7th and 8th September.
“To avoid cancelling the shows, our only option is to reschedule. The Sunday 7th September show will move to Saturday 6th September. The Monday 8th September show will move to Friday 12th September.
“All tickets will remain valid for their rescheduled date.”
The band went on to apologise to fans, saying: “We’re very sorry for the inevitable disappointment, frustration and inconvenience that this situation causes.”
So far, the concerts – which are part of the band’s Music of the Spheres world tour – have seen them perform songs such as Paradise, Trouble and We Pray.
Formed in the late-1990s, Coldplay have gone on to achieve two UK number one singles and 10 UK number one albums.
They are best-known for songs such as Yellow, Clocks and Viva La Vida.
