ALEXANDER ISAK has arrived at Liverpool following his record move from Newcastle.

The Reds agreed a staggering £130million deal with the Magpies to finally sign Isak, 25, after a long and intense summer transfer saga.

And the striker seems to have finally made his way to the Merseysiders’ training ground in Kirkby.

A vehicle pulled in and reports suggest it was carrying the Sweden international.

Isak is now expected to sign a six-year deal with Arne Slot’s side before the summer transfer window slams shut tonight at 7pm.

Liverpool are now set to smash the British transfer record for the second time this summer, after the £116.5m signing of Florian Wirtz.

Newcastle initially rejected a £110m plus add-ons opening offer from the Premier League champions at the beginning of August.

That prompted the Swedish star to go on strike, tell bosses he will never play for the Toon again and miss every match so far this season – as well as launching a scathing social media statement.

Newcastle chiefs’ stance was always that Isak is not for sale – although a £150m figure would have been enough to convince the Saudi owners to part with him.

However, there was a change of heart with less than 24 hours to go until the summer market comes to a close.

Public Investment Fund members and club co-owner Jamie Reuben visited the centre-forward at his home earlier this week but the player insisted he only wanted to move to Anfield.

It became clear on Sunday evening that Newcastle would accept £130m for Isak and that was enough to tempt Liverpool to go back in with an improved offer matching the Geordies’ demands.

Liverpool will pay £125m with an extra £5m in add-ons.
