ALEXANDER ISAK has broken his silence following his blockbuster move to Liverpool.

Liverpool have shelled out a Premier League record £130MILLION to sign the 25-year-old.
Former Real Sociedad ace Isak went on strike in order to force through his move to Anfield and has yet to play this season.
And he’s champing at the bit to get started for the Reds following his successful self-imposed exile.
When asked what drew him to Anfield, he told the Kop club’s official website: “It’s a mixture of what the club is building.
“But what they’re building on top of what the club already is.
“The history of the club,” Isak told Liverpoolfc.com, when asked why Anfield is the place for him.
“Me getting the chance to be a part of this, I want to create history. I want to win trophies.
“That’s ultimately the biggest motivation for me and I feel like this is the perfect place for me to grow even further and to take my game to the next level and help the team as well.

“I feel like this is the next step for me in my career.
“I’m super-happy that I’ve been given this chance and I’m very motivated to do something well with it.”
Kop chief Arne Slot has handed Isak the historic No.9 shirt, which has previously been worn by club legends Ian Rush, Robbie Fowler and Fernando Torres.
Isak knows it’ll be hard to replicate the trio’s success at the club but is looking forward to the challenge of becoming an Anfield legend.
He said: “It’s so exciting.
“I think it’s something difficult to put into words, I think you have to experience it and then explain.
“I think we all know what Liverpool is about, the fans and what they’re about as well.
I want to create history. I want to win trophies.”

“So, yeah, looking forward to getting to experience that.”
Newcastle were desperate to retain their former star striker‘s services but ultimately cashed in on him to avoid paying him to rot on the sidelines.
And the club’s anger at the Swede was apparent in their extremely blunt statement confirming his departure, which featured no thank you for his services.
It read: “Newcastle United can announce the sale of striker Alexander Isak to Liverpool for a significant British record transfer fee.
“The Sweden international joined the Magpies from Real Sociedad in 2022 and made 109 appearances in all competitions.”
