A MAN has been arrested after a teenage boy was sexually assaulted while he sat on a park bench in broad daylight.
The victim was attacked at around 5pm on Thursday, August 5, in Stroud, Gloucestershire, by an unknown man who approached him while he was sat, Gloucestershire Police said.
Cops explained they had received an online report that the man then went on to sexually assault the child by placing his hand on his thigh and genitals over his jeans without the boy’s consent.
Yesterday, police confirmed they had arrested a 33-year-old man on suspicion of sexual assault by touching.
He remains in custody at this time, pending further enquiries.
