POLICE have released a CCTV image in the hunt for a man after a teenage girl was allegedly sexually assaulted.
The victim is reported to have been inappropriately touched by a stranger in Eastleigh, Hampshire, on August 26.
Following the alleged incident on Baddesley Road between 3.40pm and 3.50pm, a CCTV image shows a man walking in the direction of Upper Flexford Nature Reserve.
Cops have described the man they wish to speak to as white, around 5ft 9ins tall, between 40 and 45 years old, of medium build and had a beard.
He was wearing a dark hat, a green and brown coat and glasses and was carrying a parcel.
A spokesperson for Hampshire Constabulary said: “We would like to speak to him in connection with a reported sexual assault on Baddesley Road, Chandler’s Ford.
“We appreciate the image is not of the greatest quality, but we have also provided an accompanying description.
“We believe the man in this image can help us with our investigation and would urge him, or anyone who knows his identity, to get in touch with us.”
