AT least four armed cops rushed to a Leicester park after an alleged dog attack that caused children to “scream”.
A caller reported that two loose dogs had attacked another dog in Westcotes Gardens park tonight.

Leicestershire Police said: “Police received a call at 5.12pm today (Saturday 6 September) to a report of two loose dogs in Westcotes Gardens park, Upperton Road, Leicester.
“The caller reported that the dogs had attacked another dog.
“In the interest of public and officer safety, armed officers were deployed to attend.
“The two loose dogs were contained by officers and are being transported from the scene.
“The injured dog is being taken to a vet by its owner.
“No shots were fired and no injuries to the public or officers were reported.
“Enquiries continue into the incident. No arrests have been made.”
Witness Farooq Noori, 46, was at the park with his four children and his friends’ children at the time of the attack.
He told LeicestershireLive: “Two dogs ran into the park, they started attacking another dog.
“All the children started to scream. I grabbed a branch and started hurrying the children out the park.”
