STEVE COOPER has been appointed manager of Brondby.
The former Leicester boss had been out of work since leaving the Foxes last year.

He was sacked by Leicester after picking up 10 points from 12 games, with the club 16th in the Premier League.
Cooper, 45, was offered the chance to return to management by several clubs in the Championship.
But he turned down the approaches with a view to moving abroad in a bid to win trophies and compete in Europe.
The Welshman also had interest from other clubs in Europe but he felt Brondby’s ownership and squad matched his ambition at a club with a strong fanbase.
Brondby are believed to be admirers of Cooper’s ability to nurture young talent and he has signed a three-year deal.
Benjamin Schmedes, Brondby director of football, said: “Steve is that rare combination of youth and experience, vision and personality.
“He is a man who can embrace a club like ours and lift both the individual player and the entire club to a new level.”
He has previously developed the likes of Marc Guehi, Morgan Gibbs-White and Brennan Johnson.

Cooper won the Under-17 World Cup with England, nurturing young talent like Phil Foden, Jadon Sancho, Callum Hudson-Odoi, and Guehi, who he also worked with later as Swansea manager.
He later managed Forest where he won promotion to the Prem before keeping the club safe.
Forest replaced him with Nuno Espirito Santo, who was sacked this week.
Forest appointed former Tottenham boss Ange Postecoglou to replace Nuno after the Portuguese revealed his relationship with owner Evangelinos Marinakis was strained.
It’s understood Marinakis was keen to get his side playing the attacking style of football Postecoglou became known for during his time with Spurs.
Postecoglou dined with Marinakis earlier in the summer in a prelude to this decision.
The pair met in July, when Postecoglou was presented with an award by the Greek Super League, to recognise his achievements with Spurs.
