In the dashcam footage – recorded by a driver behind the moped – the rider can be seen cruising down the A406 in Wembley.
Attached to the back of the bike is a storage box, with a red L – to mark the rider as a learner.
However, the mysterious white vehicle pushes up against the moped and accelerates to keep pace with the bike.
Then, it abruptly switches lanes to catch up to the bike before inching closer and closer to it.
As the white vehicle speeds up, the driver of the car behind can be heard saying: “He’s still trying to get him, isn’t he?”
Dwarfing the bike in size, the car can be seen swerving towards the bike with the rider tilting to the left to avoid the huge vehicle.
Panicked gasps in the car with the dashcam can be heard as the white car closes in.
However, the white car can clearly be seen suddenly veering to the right in a shocking move which causes the bike to go careening sideways.
Unable to steady his moped, the rider falls to the ground while the white vehicle races away into the distance.
As the bike crashes to the ground, the driver of the car behind can be heard exclaiming: “S***!”
The Sun has approached the Metropolitan Police for comment.
The news comes just days after footage of a brawl on the M3 motorway surfaced on line.
In the footage, passengers from a white Audi A3 can be seen confronting other travellers from a larger black car.
Two men were caught fighting in the footage, forcing other cars on the busy route to stop.
Meanwhile, a woman can be seen dragging another driver out of her seat by her hair before the pair exchanged blows.
An eyewitness said: “It looked like a road rage brawl.
“They pulled a girl out of the car, and we have no idea what it was about.
“It was mad, it was insane – right in the middle of the lane.
“I went into the left-hand lane and drove straight past them.
“The whole motorway was blocked.”
The incident held up traffic on Britain’s busiest motorway, used by 250,000 cars every single day.
