TERENCE CRAWFORD reckons MMA star Ilia Topuria must have been DRUNK when he vowed to KO him.
Ahead of his undisputed super-middleweight crack at Canelo Alvarez on Saturday, the 37-year-old Nebraska icon was targeted by a surprise rival.

Feather and lightweight king Topuria, the UFC’s 28-year-old pound-for-pound No1, claimed that he would finish Crawford inside a boxing ring, let alone a cage.
But Crawford – attempting to be the first undisputed world champ in three weight classes, after cleaning out super-lightweight and welter – laughed off the trash talk.
When asked about Topuria’s outlandish idea, Crawford cooly claimed: “That dude is drunk.
“You know a lot of UFC fighters drink, so he must have been on alcohol that day.”
German-born Georgian, Topuria, is on a brilliant run of 17-0.
And his last three victories – against Alex Volkanovski, Max Holloway and Charles Oliveira – have made him the promotion’s stand-out star.
But the idea he can transfer his respectable boxing skills into a ring, to take on Crawford is laughable.
That did not stop him posting on social media: “I won’t talk about what would happen between me and Crawford in an octagon.
