A DERBY clash descended into chaos after fans chased players down the tunnel with riot police failing to restore order.
The dramatic scenes occurred in Germany on Friday night in the Regionalliga Nordost clash between Hallescher and Chemie Leipzig.

Before kick-off, trouble was brewing as objects were thrown from the stands onto the pitch.
Players were then subjected to flares and pyrotechnics being set off by supporters throughout the game, causing coloured smoke to fog the field.
Hosts Hallescher and Chemie ended up drawing the game 0-0, handing the visitors their first point of the season after seven games.
It also marked the first game of the new term that Hallescher had not won.
And their home fans saw red as the final whistle went.
Chaos immediately broke out as Hallescher supporters stormed the field to attack Chemie players.
The police had attempted to keep the two sets of fans apart.
But their strategy failed as Hallescher’s group climbed fences before getting onto the field.

But fans were eventually able to make their way back home as the violence fizzled out.
