The judges’ for the fight made for some interesting reading

Crawford was too fleet of foot and elusive for the Guadalajara gladiator, whom he defeated via unanimous decision.

Judges Tim Cheatham and Max De Luca turned in 115-113 scorecards in favour of Crawford.

Third judge of the night, Steve Weisfeld, had a wider scorecard in favour of Crawford, scoring it 116-112 for the successful challenger.

De Luca and Weisfeld’s early scoring of the bout raised eyebrows among boxing fans.

De Luca, somehow, scored the fight in favour of Canelo when it was clear he was being outboxed.

And Weisfeld bizarrely gave the former champion rounds two and three.

Cheatham and De Luca also somehow scored the fight a DRAW after ten rounds.

Crawford, 37, broke down in tears after his historic coronation as undisputed super-middleweight king.
