LABOUR are “straining at the bit” to sort the border crisis as the first one-in-one-out flights begin for small boat migrants this week.
Cabinet minister Peter Kyle said the Government had been “doing everything we can” over Channel crossings, despite more than 31,000 arriving this year.

Chartered Air France flights are due to take off this week as part of the deal with Paris.
Announced more than a month ago, it will see around 100 small boat migrants sent back to France — while a similar number who have applied to come to the UK are brought in.
PM Sir Keir Starmer hopes it will break the business model of the smuggling gangs.
Mr Kyle told Sky News yesterday: “We’re straining at the bit to get a grip on the migration crisis we inherited off the Tories.”
Posters have been put up in northern France warning anyone boarding a boat across the Channel faces being deported.
Around 100 people are understood to have been detained and held at Harmondsworth, an immigration removal centre next to Heathrow airport.
Those being held have now been handed formal removal notices, but lawyers are expected to mount legal challenges.
Asylum seekers in France are able to access an online form to express interest in coming to the UK via the scheme.
British taxpayers are funding all of the transport costs for both sides.

Demo is ‘klaxon’
SATURDAY’S Unite the Kingdom march was a “klaxon call” for MPs to address immigration concerns, Business Secretary Peter Kyle said.
Between 110,000 and 150,000 attended the London demonstration led by far-right activist Tommy Robinson.
Mr Kyle said the Government is determined to “start to bring communities back together”.
There were at least 25 arrests at the demo and 26 police injured.
