CHAMPIONS League fans can view “Fifa-style” graphics in real time in a ground-breaking new offer from Prime Video.
Prime has the pick of the Tuesday fixtures across the entire competition, starting with Tottenham’s home game with Villarreal tomorrow night.

And while viewers can watch the game in traditional style with former Spurs stars Michael Carrick and Dimitar Berbatov among the pundits on duty, the streaming giant will also debut its new look.
Fans opting to watch Prime Vision will see a series of real-time statistics and features laid over the match footage.
A pitch-map, showing the positions of all 22 players will run on the bottom of the screen.
And the AI-generated functions will allow TV fans to identify which player is on the ball and their most likely passing options.
Labels will also flash up to show the speed of sprints, measure long passes, show the velocity of shots and highlight just how difficult a flying save actually was.
Prime have built on the version of the system they have refined over three seasons of “Thursday Night Football” coverage of the NFL to provide a bespoke football algorithm.
Andrew Hornet, Prime’s director of live production, explained: “We wanted to give the viewers something that innovates with a purpose, rather than just that looks pretty.
“This is an alternative that doesn’t disrupt the main viewing experience but offers a new perspective.

“It’s something unique for European football and is designed for the fans who are really interested in tactics without being super-nerdy.”
Prime believes tagging players when they are on the ball will be especially helpful for armchair fans to identify opponents of the Prem sides.
As soon as a player is in possession, his three most likely passing options – identified by the AI generator and based on his position and viewing direction, will be illustrated with a blue circle, while the ball-player will have a red circle under tight pressure.
At the same time, any player traveling at faster than 17.3mph will be highlighted, as well as those rising above 6ft 8in in the air to head the ball.
Shots will be tracked automatically, with their velocity instantly measured and displayed.
After a goal or near-miss, another graphic will be able to show the expected goals value of the shot – its likelihood of finding the back of the net – as well as the goalkeeper’s chances of making a save.
And in addition to the positions map, a “momentum bar”, indicating which team has been in charge of the previous five minutes, will be on permanent display.

Unlike other previous measures, based mainly on possession alone, that will include a calculation of the true state of play.
Which is a recognition that counter-attacking sides might deliberately cede possession to allow them to hit their opponent harder in transition when they do win the ball back.
Prime will have 22 cameras in operation at each of their games and Horner added: “We know that this will not be for everyone but want to deliver something that really enhances what fans can see.”
Also launching for the new season is the integration of Dynamic Standings into the main broadcast experience.
The feature will allow fans to see the live impact on the league table across all Champions League fixtures as the action unfolds.
That introduction is set to help fans to understand the expansive League Phase format with Europe’s elite competing simultaneously.
Fans will be able to use their remote to select “Live Standings” from the in-game menu, with clear markers for automatic qualification, the play-off positions and those teams facing elimination from the competition.
