A MAJOR motorway has closed in both directions – sparking major delays of up to 90 minutes for motorists.
The M60 has been blocked off between junction 6, for Sale, and junction 8, for Carrington, Manchester.

Cops say they are dealing with a “concern for welfare incident.”
A Greater Manchester Police spokesperson says officers are currently responding to a concern for welfare incident between J6 and J8 on the M60.
“Emergency services are in attendance and closures are currently in place,” the force added.
National Highways has warned drivers there are currently delays exceeding 90 minutes in both directions of the M60 where police are continuing to work at the scene.
