Brooklyn Beckham shock name in All-Stars match at Ryder Cup 2025 alongside John McEnroe and Hollywood sex symbol

BROOKLYN BECKHAM, John McEnroe and Catherine Zeta-Jones are among the stars who have been named in the Ryder Cup’s All-Stars match this year.

The trio are among 16 celebrities who are set to compete in New York ahead of this month’s epic golf tournament.

The Ryder Cup action begins at the Bethpage Black course on Friday September 26.

Team Europe are looking to defend 2023’s title, with Luke Donald relying on stars like Rory McIlroy, Justin Rose and John Rahm to deliver the goods.

As for Team USA, they will be captained by Keegan Bradley and boast formidable stars including Scottie Scheffler, Justin Thomas and Bryson DeChambeau.

But before the thriller kicks off, fans will first be treated to an All-Star match featuring celebs from both sides of the pond.

Team USA boast a large number of favourites, with tennis legend McEnroe joined by former NFL stars Eli Manning and Michael Strahan, plus country singers Miranda Lambert and Kane Brown.

The rest of the side is made up of chef Bobby Flay, comedian Colin Jost and folk-pop star Noah Kahan.

As for Team Europe, they are headed up by David Beckham’s son Brooklyn.

He is joined by actress Zeta-Jones, who is married to Michael Douglas and is a huge golf fan.

Harry Potter actors Tom Felton and Oliver Phelps are involved along with Spanish NBA legend Paul Gasol.

While the rest of the side features Croatian ex-NBA star Toni Kucoc, Spanish chef Jose Andres and Finnish ice hockey ace Teemu Selanne.

The match takes place on Wednesday September 24, with teams competing 2v2 across four matches for one point per hole.

But with Zeta-Jones on board, it could be advantage to Team Europe.

The Welsh actress opened up on her love of golf, which she frequently plays with A-lister Hollywood hubby Douglas.

She told Golf Chic: “I was shooting a movie in Australia early in my career and was on hold for a very long time.

“Surrounding me was golf course after golf course, so to pass the time I bought myself a set of clubs and started hitting balls as soon as the sun came up.

“Our handicaps… I play off 22, Michael is lower than me. But I have never had a hole in one.

“I played most of my golf on the island of Bermuda. (I currently use) XXIO golf clubs, my favourite is my hybrid.

“I will be supporting Europe and my husband will be supporting the USA. It certainly heightens the stakes at our house.”
