DISNEY+ will stream the League Phase draw of a major European football competition this week.

The streaming giant won the broadcast rights for the Women’s Champions League in May.

And with the 2025-26 competition set to kick off next month, the draw for its first-ever League Phase is scheduled for this Friday.

It will be streamed live on Disney+ at 11am BST (12PM CET) from Switzerland.

As part of the competition’s new format, all 18 teams will play six matches in the League Phase against different opponents, with half to be played at home and half away.

The top four sides in the League Phase will go straight into the quarter-finals and receive home advantage.

Meanwhile, those finishing 5th to 12th will take part in play-offs for the remaining spots.

The teams that fail to reach the top 12 will be automatically eliminated.

Disney+ signed a five-year deal with Uefa for the rights to the Women’s Champions League before the 2024-25 final between Arsenal and Barcelona.

The London club stunned the serial winners 1-0 in Lisbon thanks to a second-half strike from Stina Blackstenius.

For the last four seasons, the competition had been free-to-air on the DAZN app and YouTube channel.

Some fixtures were also available to watch on TNT Sports in the UK.

The new deal with Disney+ will see every match streamed live.

Coverage will be produced by ESPN – Disney’s multi-platform sports brand.
