The 6,000-capacity ground usually hosts the Women’s and B-team clashes but was granted permission to hold this LaLiga meeting amid an ongoing wait for Nou Camp to open again.
It was the first official match played at the stadium and resulted in chaos.
Reports in Spanish outlet Sport suggest that some fans tried to secretly enter a building with flats that look out directly onto the pitch.
One occupant even claimed to have been offered £432 to get access to the balcony.
Situated at one end of the ground, certain rooms have a clear view of the stadium, meaning residents could watch Barcelona stars Robert Lewandowski, Marcus Rashford, and Pedri for free.
Those who were lucky enough to get tickets or the balcony view would have been treated to a 6-0 demolition by the champions with five of the goals coming in the second half.
Fermin Lopez gave Flick’s team the lead before Raphinha and Lewandowski both bagged braces to round off a comprehensive win.
Barcelona’s next home match is against Getafe on September 21 with an away trip to Newcastle United in the Champions League on Thursday to come.
