The booking of red-hot Oisin Murphy stands out on John Butler’s four-year-old who had more than four lengths in hand when scoring at Windsor last time out. She’s had a little break since that smooth success largely thanks to quick ground because she likes to get her toe. There’s cut in the ground today and this trip holds no fears.
DUNKELD DREAMER (3.48 Beverley, nb)
Is in flying form with two wins from her past three starts. She stepped up to this mile nicely at Thirsk latest and is best on soft ground. There’s more to come from Karl Burke’s two-year-old.
SALLAAL (3.35 Sandown, treble)
Is an improving son of Frankel who is looking for a hat-trick after a pair of Hamilton victories. They both came on quick ground but he relished heavy conditions when striking on debut at Yarmouth last October. Roger Varian has his string in excellent form and can land another win.
LIFE IS BEAUTIFUL (4.00 Yarmouth, Lucky 15)
Hasn’t done a lot wrong for the Gosdens and was just denied in a French Group 3 last month. She was a good fifth in the Ribblesdale at Royal Ascot so should have enough quality to go close.
