A heavyweight showdown with Antonio Conte’s Napoli awaits, and truth be told, nobody quite knows what to expect from Pep Guardiola’s side.

The Cityzens have notched up two wins from their opening four Premier League games – brushing aside Wolves and Manchester United in style.

But cracks have shown in their tougher tests, with defeats to Brighton and Tottenham raising early questions, especially after shipping two goals in both matches.

Still, City remain a serious attacking threat – comfortably boasting the highest Open Play xG in the division (7.28) – and confidence should be high following that derby day win.

Add to that the immediate impact of new arrival Gianluigi Donnarumma between the sticks, and there’s a growing sense that Guardiola’s revamped City could be about to click.
