Hojlund joined McTominay in Naples during the summer transfer window.

The pair looked very slick as they inspected the pitch at the Etihad Stadium last night.

They were dressed in matching smart black outfits as they reminded themselves of their old rivals’ ground.

But United fans were left stunned on social media after spotting the pair’s suave looks.

One posted: “The level of Aura they got after leaving Man Utd is insane.”

A second wrote: “Guys become instantly colder the second they leave United.”

A third commented: “Insane aurafarming. Man Utd was holding them back.”

A fourth said: “Scott looking like a mafia boss.”

Another added: “These fits are insane.”

The striker struggled for form following his £72million switch to Old Trafford in 2023.

But he is already off the mark for his new side as he scored in the Serie A win over Fiorentina.

McTominay, meanwhile, has become a fan favourite at the club as he helped guide them to the Italian title last term – and has even been nominated for the Ballon d’Or.

They are not the only players who are making their returns to Manchester for the match.

Former City captain Kevin De Bruyne will also be lining up for the Italian giants.

The Belgian midfielder made the move to Napoli in the summer after his contract expired with Pep Guardiola‘s side.

Manager Antonio Conte has admitted to picking De Bruyne’s brains ahead of the clash.

He said: “It’s always been very careful preparation for every single match, we’re not doing anything particularly different, but I’ve spoken to Kevin.

“I’ve asked him a few things.

“He’s been a part of this club for 10 years and had a great coach like Pep Guardiola.

“Kevin will be excited to be playing but I’m hoping that after the starting whistle he will find his feet and remember he’s playing for our great Napoli and contribute like he has been doing.”
