CHARLIE Kirk loved being mocked in South Park and would want his controversial episode back on TV, a close friend has insisted.
The pal’s comments come after Comedy Central pulled the episode from rotation following the conservative activist’s assassination.

Andrew Kolvet, an executive producer of The Charlie Kirk Show and one of Kirk’s close friends, wrote on X: “As someone who can speak with some authority on this, Charlie loved that he was featured in South Park.
“He told me many times. He would want the episode back up.”
The August 6 episode, titled Got a Nut, featured Eric Cartman donning Kirk’s trademark hairstyle and running “prove me wrong” debates on campus.
It was episode two of the satirical show’s 27th season – one that has leaned heavily into publicly criticising Donald Trump and the MAGA movement.
But after Kirk was shot dead by a sniper while speaking at Utah Valley University on September 10, Comedy Central quietly replaced a planned rerun with another episode, Sickofancy.
The parody remains available to stream on Paramount+.
And just a week after after the Got a Nut rerun was yanked, creators Trey Parker and Matt Stone delayed a new episode.
They said: “This one is on us. We didn’t get it done in time.
“Thanks to Comedy Central and South Park fans for being so understanding. Tune in next week!”
The show — now in its 27th season since its 1997 debut — will resume on September 24, with new episodes running through December.
South Park fan
Charlie Kirk himself had previously embraced the spoof.
He told Fox News Digital in July: “Honestly, my first reaction was that I kinda laughed.”
A longtime South Park fan, he called the cartoon “an equal opportunity offender” and previously swapped his show’s Instagram and TikTok profile pictures to a screengrab of Cartman impersonating him.
“It’s kinda funny, and it kinda goes to show the cultural impact and the resonance that our movement has been able to achieve. I look at this as a badge of honour,” he said at the time.
“We as conservatives need to be able to take a joke. We shouldn’t take ourselves so seriously.
“That’s something that the left has always done, to great detriment to themselves and the movement. Look, they’re professional comedians.
“They’re probably going to roast me, and I think that’s fine. That’s what it’s all about, being in public life and making a difference.”

President Trump called it a “dark moment” for America and blamed the “radical left” for fueling political violence.
Vice President JD Vance praised Kirk for helping Trump win the White House in 2016 and 2024.
White House press secretary Karoline Leavitt said: “I’m a Gen Z conservative.
“My political education was not just through the rise of President Trump but also through the rise of Charlie Kirk.
“Just watching Charlie from a distance was so inspiring to me as a young conservative woman.”
Kirk leaves behind his wife, Erika Frantzve, and their two young children.
His funeral is set to take place this weekend, with Trump expected to attend.
