A 70-YEAR-OLD driver has been killed in a three-vehicle horror crash involving a milk tanker and a tractor.
Cops scrambled to the scene after the collision on the A168 near Dishforth Airfield, North Yorkshire, at 7.15am today.
The fatal smash involved a red Fiat 500 car, a John Deere tractor and a white HGV milk tanker.
Police said the Fiat and tractor were travelling south towards Boroughbridge, and the HGV was travelling in the opposite direction towards Thirsk.
The driver of the Fiat, a 70-year-old man from Malton, was pronounced dead at the scene.

Meanwhile, the tractor driver, a 57-year-old man, was uninjured.
Police said the road is closed to allow for collision investigation work and recovery to take place.
However, the force said they hoped to reopen it by 6pm.
A police spokesperson added that Yorkshire Ambulance Service “have also asked us to pass on their thanks to members of the public who assisted them at the scene”.
