And that figure, based on the minimum priced tickets, could be boosted by millions more in merchandise sales and streaming revenue.

Brand and culture expert Nick Ede said the “comeback tour is nothing short of phenomenal”.
And he compared the impact to that surrounding Taylor Swift’s Eras tour in 2023 and 2024.
He added: “Its an incredible achievement, particularly after taking time away from the spotlight.
“Forget the Taylor effect, this is the Capaldi effect and it’s going to just snowball.
“I can see even more dates being added and more money made.”
Capaldi has already enjoyed a triumphant homecoming at Glasgow’s OVO Hydro.
It was the first time the Hold Me While You Wait singer to had taken he stage in the city since January 2023.
The international leg includes gigs in Dublin, New Zealand and Australia.
