No doubt many will have been coached first on how to make their claim by so-called sick-fluencers on TikTok.
And the vast majority will get their handouts after only the most cursory of checks, and without any requirement to look for work.
By failing to launch any kind of meaningful welfare crackdown, the State is conniving in this wholesale fraud on the public and dumping generations on the scrapheap.
A skivers’ charter has unfolded that the Government is doing precious little to stop.

LABOUR promised to end the chaos caused by brutal Tory infighting.
But already Left-wing backbenchers have begun a plot to install Andy Burnham as leader.
Yesterday, the self-styled King of the North set out his recipe for “wholesale change”, which includes the fantasy of nationalising everything from housing and railways to energy and water.
He also complained that Labour was being run in a “very factional and quite divisive” way.
Which some might say is a very factional and quite divisive argument to make on the eve of the Labour Party Conference…
For Keir Starmer – and the rest of us – next week could be a very long week indeed.
