CHICHESTER CITY have postponed their next match after Billy Vigar was placed in an induced coma following his horror brain injury.
The former Arsenal man, 21, suffered the serious setback in Chichester’s last match against Wingate and Finchley.

Last weekend’s game was suspended when Vigar reportedly collided with a hard pitchside surface.
The horror incident occurred 15 minutes into the match.
He was treated by an ambulance crew before a helicopter rushed him to hospital.
Chichester’s game was then abandoned as the club confirmed Vigar had suffered a brain injury.
They said: “Billy received a significant brain injury and is currently in an induced coma in intensive care receiving the best possible treatment.
“It is too early to say what the outcome will be and even if things go well, there will be a long road to recovery.”
They followed up their statement with a post reading: “Love from the whole CCFC family Billy.”
Chichester were due to play Isthmian Premier Division rivals Lewes this weekend.
But with Vigar in an induced coma, a decision has been made to postpone the match.
Chichester confirmed: “This Saturday’s fixture has been postponed. To be arranged at a later date.”
Well wishes have been pouring in for Vigar from the non-league football world.
One fan said: “Sounds traumatic for all involved, a terrible incident. Thoughts with the player, his family, and all at the club.”
Another fan added: “Thoughts with him. Sounds absolutely horrendous.”
Vigar spent his youth career with Arsenal after joining at age 14.
He worked his way up to the U21 team in North London, alongside loan spells with Derby County U21 and Eastbourne.
He left the club permanently in 2024 after being unable to progress to the senior team, joining Hastings United in the Non-League Premier before his move to Chichester.
