RORY MCILROY had the perfect response to the abusive Ryder Cup crowd.
The European talisman is pantomime villain No1 at Bethpage Black.

He secured 1½ points on Friday with a win in the foursomes – but missed out on a win in the fourballs when he could not sink a putt on the last.
And the rowdy American fans could not wait to hurl abuse at him once again on Saturday morning.
Even before the first match at soon after 7am, the grandstand audience repeatedly chanted “f*** you, Rory” – after an embarrassing failed chanting lesson from the MC.
And the volume and vitriol intensified when McIlroy came out for the second foursomes match – once again alongside Tommy Fleetwood.
But as the crowd continued the hatred, McIlroy gave a brilliant reply.
Stood on the tee box with Fleetwood, the Northern Irishman smiled gleefully.
McIlroy, 36, then blew kisses to the grandstand and opened his arms out as if to say ‘bring it on’.
Fleetwood then whispered something in his mate’s ear before they got underway against Collin Morikawa and Harris English, who they thrashed 5&4 yesterday.
And the incident did not go unnoticed by fans watching the action on TV.
One said: “Rory is up for it! A sarcastic kiss to the US fans.”

Another wrote: “That’s the only way to rip back at us New Yorkers. We will accept him more for the razzing back. We live off of interactions like this. Touché Rory.”
A third added: “Gotta love Rory. An obnoxious crowd, them Americans.”
And a final user commented on the bizarre lesson: “I would have laughed if I did not feel second-hand embarrassment… few minutes and they went back to ‘f*** you Rory’, real golf gentleman stuff. American golf fans are pure trash.”
However, it appeared the US Ryder Cup fans may have got in McIlroy’s head.
He hooked his opening tee shot deep into the rough.
And when his chip-in attempt horseshoed out of the hole, English secured the opening hole.
The incident came just a day after McIlroy appeared to make an X-rated gesture towards the New York crowd.
During the fourballs with Shane Lowry, he walked off the 11th green and seemed to stick up his middle finger.
And after missing that putt on the 18th, he threw his club into the air and let it fall on the green, making a divot.
However, despite his dejection, it is understood he went back and repaired the mark.
