She made a winning start to life with Iain Jardine when landing a gutsy win at Hamilton last Monday. Her rider dropped his whip so the effort was all the better. That was an apprentices’ race and she’s actually 1lb lower in the weights today which surely gives her a massive chance.
BAYNOONA (3.52 Bath, nb)
Clocked a big personal best when winning over course and distance 17 days ago. A 3lb rise in the weights for that seems fair and she has handled these quicker conditions before.
MOONSHINE MAN (3.07 Sedgefield, treble)
It’s good to see Henrietta Knight still going strong and she sent out this six-year-old to win comfortably over hurdles last time out. She makes the switch to the bigger obstacles and is sure to have been well schooled for the challenge.
LIMA SIERRA (4.00 Ayr)
Regular winner who got her head in front again at Catterick last time. She sees out this 7f trip and likes cut in the ground. She’s up 4lb and should be right there again.
